Call for Exhibitors

Deadline: September 15, 2017

This one and one-half day statewide conference will provide valuable information for educators, homeless liaisons, shelter personnel, educators, pupil services personnel, guidance counselors, social workers and other professionals working with students experiencing homelessness. Topics will include integration of the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015; responsibilities of school district homeless liaisons; Pennsylvania’s Education for Homeless Youth Basic Education Circular; components of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act; effective identification and use of school and community resources to remove barriers to learning related to homeless situations; and programs, services and collaborative strategies to better serve students and their families who are experiencing homelessness.

More than two hundred attendees from all areas of Pennsylvania are expected to attend. The conference is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Exhibitors will include national, state and local government and non-profit organizations and agencies that are serving or providing resources that promote positive outcomes for children, youth and families experiencing homelessness.

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to interact and discuss their services and/or products with their target market of educators and social service professionals. It offers a great networking opportunity to meet other service providers and prospective customers.

All organizations must complete the exhibitor agreement in order to be considered as an exhibitor. The Center for Schools and Communities reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of any organization to be an exhibitor.
